Dr. Brian Mincha is a capacity-building associate at inSupply Health Limited. He has worked in various sectors of the Kenyan healthcare system, focusing on commodity management at the industry, facility and community pharmacy levels. Brian has applied his contextual knowledge of pharmacy practice to empower healthcare workers and other service providers, aligning with global standards in commodity management and health supply chain solutions. To achieve this, Brian primarily focuses on crafting and designing digital, in-person, and virtual content that is engaging and interactive while delivering quality learning consistently. His current work has involved him in the quantification of health products and technology across four counties in Kenya (Isiolo, Kakamega, Nakuru, and Trans Nzoia), reviewing the DHPT supply chain curriculum, and implementing the IMPACT approach, which institutionalizes the use of data at the county, sub-county, and facility levels. He strongly believes that the institutionalization of standard practices relies heavily on learners grasping the applicability of the skills they are taught in their day-to-day tasks.
